Porcelain Laminate

Porcelain laminae, which means leaf coating as a word, is the process of gluing a thin layer of porcelain on the front faces of the teeth after slight etching on the front faces of the teeth.
Since porcelain is prepared as a very thin layer, its light transmission and reflectance is very close to the natural tooth, thus providing excellent aesthetics and no tooth reduction is required. It is also strong against abrasion. As the surface is smooth, it minimizes the coloration caused by cigarettes and similar reasons.

Porcelain substructure does not have metal because of light transmittance increases. Thus aesthetically, the best results are obtained for natural teeth, so full porcelain is preferred especially in the front teeth.

Bonding
