Porcelain Laminate (Leaf Plating)

Porcelain laminae, which means Leaf Plating as a word, is a process of gluing a thin layer of porcelain to the fronts of the teeth after slight abrasion on the front faces of the teeth.
Since porcelain is prepared as a very thin layer, its light transmission and its reflectance is very close to the natural tooth and thus provides excellent aesthetics and no need to over-cut any teeth. It is also strong against abrasion. Its surface is smooth and minimizes the coloration caused by cigarettes and similar reasons.

Composite Laminate

Generally, composite aesthetic restorations are made to the external surfaces of the front group teeth. It is a method of re-contouring with composite fillers without any abrasion on the teeth or, if necessary, a very slight abrasion. Therefore, the patient will have reached enough aesthetic appearance. Composite Lamina can be done in a single session for a period of 30 min-1 hour and the immediate result is achieved. It is an aesthetic process that requires attention and special care, and it should be very well adjusted with the gum.

Zirconium

Zirconium tooth crown is the most suitable type of crowning that can be used in patients with metal allergy. Zirconium, compared to other metals; it is more preferred due to being more resistant to temperature and corrosion. However, zirconium used in tooth making is not used as a pure mineral but after it has been converted into a zirconia ceramic form. The fact that zirconium is a white substance that creates a more transparent image in the teeth and is highly preferred because of the white edges of the gums. It is the most preffered material among the aesthetic materials

Full Porcelain Crowns

These are porcelain dental systems with increased aesthetic quality and durability. The ceramic structure is supported by a strong substructure and the whole structure of the porcelain is reinforced.

Although many things affect the view of crowns; the most important thing is their reaction to light. Light passes through the natural teeth as a result of this reaction, full porcelain crown teeth have deepness and vitality.

Due to the lack of metal in the porcelain substructure (full porcelain) increases its light permeability. This results in the most aesthetically pleasing results to the natural tooth appearance and therefore full porcelain is preferred especially for the front teeth.

Bonding

Bonding applications are among the protective methods used in aesthetic dentistry. Bonding is applied by gluing a material to the tooth without causing damage to the tooth. When the patient has small spaces between the teeth and small deformities, additions are made on the teeth using the bonding material without abrasing the teeth. Performing procedures intraorally allows dentist to reshape the teeth. Bonding applications may be preferred for minor defects in the teeth. In case of greater problems, laminates and porcelain crowns should be made.
